What is an acrylic pickleball court?
An acrylic sports floor is a synthetic sports flooring coated over a concrete or asphalt base. It goes down as a series of thin coats: a primer to seal the base, resurfacer coats to even out the surface, then the colour coats, with the court lines painted last.
How was the Dehradun court surfaced?
The work followed that sequence in April 2026. The primer and two resurfacer coats were done by 20 April, and the colour coats followed: a blue playing area with a contrasting red zone across the middle of the court. The court was then marked in white for pickleball and badminton. Photographs of the job, from the primer to the finished surface, are dated 19 to 22 April 2026.
