A ChampCourts padel court is a complete enclosed structure: a concrete base, a galvanised steel frame, tempered glass walls, metal mesh, synthetic turf with sand infill, LED floodlights and the net. Each part has its own job.
For a covered court, a roof structure is added over the same enclosure.
The difference is the back wall. A standard padel court has steel posts between the glass panels; a panoramic padel court removes those posts, so the glass runs unbroken and people watching get a clear view of play.
To hold the glass without posts, a panoramic court uses thicker 12 mm tempered glass and heavier engineering, so it costs more to build. Across the market, a standard court frames each panel between posts and often uses 10 mm glass. Both play the same way, and both are built to the same 20 m x 10 m FIP court dimensions. ChampCourts padel courts use 12 mm tempered glass.

Build a standard court when most people at the court are there to play, and a panoramic court when spectators, events and photographs matter to the venue. The choice is about sightlines and budget, not about how the court plays.
A padel court goes up in six steps: the concrete base is laid and cured, the steel frame is erected on it, the glass and mesh are fitted, the turf is laid with sand infill, the lines, net and lights go in, and the court is checked and handed over.
A single padel court takes about 6 to 8 weeks from order to handover. The steel frame is fabricated and the glass prepared off-site over 4 to 6 weeks while the base is laid and cured; assembly on site then takes 10 to 15 days.
A second court built alongside adds 3 to 5 days on site. Weather, access to the plot and the civil work your site needs can change these times, so your quotation sets out the schedule for your site.
Yes. ChampCourts' head office is in Hyderabad, Telangana, and the team builds padel courts on site anywhere in India. The court itself is the same everywhere; what changes from site to site is the base and drainage work, which depends on the soil, the levels and access to the plot.

A standard padel court is 20m long × 10m wide (200 sqm / 2,150 sqft). The court is enclosed — 3m high tempered glass back walls at each end, and 4m high metallic mesh on the sides. The net is 0.88m at centre. Unlike tennis, the walls are part of the playing surface — shots can be played off them.
The ChampCourts Made-in-India padel court starts from ₹11.5 lakh, and Padel Europa, a European-made court that ChampCourts supplies and installs, starts from ₹25 lakh. Both prices are per court, excluding GST, transport and the crew's food and lodging, for the court system supplied and installed: steel frame, tempered glass, mesh, turf with infill, LED lights, and net and posts. The concrete base slab is quoted separately for your site. A covered court adds a roof structure, and double courts (2 side-by-side) bring the per-court cost down; your free written quotation prices both.
Yes. Most padel courts worldwide are outdoor. The artificial turf handles rain well, and the glass/mesh structure is designed for weather exposure. For Indian monsoon conditions, we include proper drainage and anti-corrosion treatment. LED floodlights enable evening play.
12mm tempered (toughened) safety glass. If it breaks — which is extremely rare during normal play — it shatters into small, blunt pieces rather than sharp shards. The glass is treated for UV resistance and heat in Indian conditions.
Fabrication (off-site): 4-6 weeks for steel frame and glass sourcing. On-site installation: 10-15 days for a single court. Total timeline from order to handover: 6-8 weeks. Double courts add 3-5 days to the on-site work.
Minimal. Brush the turf weekly to keep the pile upright, top up sand infill annually (we supply). Check glass panels and mesh quarterly for damage. Steel frame needs no maintenance if properly galvanised. The turf surface can be replaced without touching the structure.
Absolutely. Padel court rentals in India command Rs 1,500-3,000 per hour — higher than most other court sports due to scarcity and premium positioning. A well-located court with evening bookings can generate Rs 1-2 lakhs per month. How fast it pays back depends on the court you choose (from ₹11.5 lakh or ₹25 lakh; GST, transport and the crew's food and lodging extra), the base work your site needs and your bookings. A site with room for two or more courts can also run leagues and tournaments.
Yes. Padel uses walls (glass and mesh) as part of the court — balls can be played off walls like squash. Paddle tennis (also called Pop Tennis) is an outdoor game without walls on a smaller court. Padel courts are always doubles, always enclosed, and always use depressurised tennis balls.
