Frequently asked questions
Common questions about our court construction.
A standard padel court is 20m long × 10m wide (200 sqm / 2,150 sqft). The court is enclosed — 3m high tempered glass back walls at each end, and 4m high metallic mesh on the sides. The net is 0.88m at centre. Unlike tennis, the walls are part of the playing surface — shots can be played off them. The PCC slab needs to be 22m × 12m (extends 1m beyond the enclosure on all sides).
A single outdoor padel court costs Rs 25-35 lakhs turnkey — including PCC base, steel frame, tempered glass, mesh walls, artificial turf, lighting, and net. Indoor courts with roofing run Rs 32-45 lakhs. Double courts (2 side-by-side, sharing a central wall) bring per-court cost down by 15-20%, totalling Rs 45-70 lakhs. PCC base is optional and priced separately at approximately Rs 90/sqft (Rs 2-3L per court).
Yes — most padel courts worldwide are outdoor. The artificial turf handles rain well, and the glass/mesh structure is designed for weather exposure. For Indian monsoon conditions, we include proper drainage, anti-corrosion treatment on all steel members, and UV-stabilised turf. LED floodlights enable evening play even in the dry months.
12mm tempered (toughened) safety glass — Saint Gobain branded — meeting EN 12150 standards. If a panel breaks (extremely rare during normal play), it shatters into small, blunt pieces rather than sharp shards. The glass is treated for UV resistance and Indian heat conditions. Replacement panels are always available as spares.
Fabrication (off-site): 4-6 weeks for steel frame and glass sourcing. On-site installation: 10-15 days for a single court. Total timeline from order to handover: 6-8 weeks. Double courts add 3-5 days to the on-site work because of the shared central wall installation.
Minimal. Brush the turf weekly to keep the pile upright, top up sand infill annually (we supply the kiln-dried quartz sand). Check glass panels and mesh quarterly for damage. Steel frame needs no maintenance if properly galvanised + powder-coated. LED lights last 50,000+ hours. The turf surface is replaceable after 8-10 years without touching the structure — so your padel court keeps generating revenue while only the playing surface is refreshed.
Padel court rentals in India command Rs 1,500-3,000 per hour peak (evenings/weekends) and Rs 800-1,500 off-peak — substantially higher than tennis or badminton due to scarcity and premium positioning. A well-located court with 6-8 hours of peak bookings can generate Rs 1-2 lakhs per month, with ROI in 18-24 months. Many clients build 2-4 courts for league and tournament play.
No — they are different sports. Padel uses walls (glass + mesh) as part of the court — balls can be played off walls, similar to squash. Paddle tennis (also called Pop Tennis) is an outdoor game without walls, played on a smaller court. Padel courts are always doubles, always enclosed, and always use depressurised tennis balls with solid-faced rackets. Padel is the fastest-growing racquet sport globally — 25 million+ players, with 400% growth in registered players 2018-2024.
