From site selection to first whistle, here's the step-by-step process for building a futsal court in India.

Step 1: Site Selection & Dimensions

Minimum land: 25m × 16m (4,300 sqft) for a 5-a-side court. Add 2-3m on each side for run-off area. Total site: ~6,000 sqft minimum.

Step 2: Choose Your Surface

Three options ranked by popularity in India:

Step 3: Base Preparation

Proper sub-base is critical. Concrete base (4-6 inches) with drainage gradient. For turf, add a 15mm shock pad between concrete and turf.

Step 4: Surface Installation

Turf: 3-5 days. Acrylic: 5-7 days (curing time). PU: 7-10 days.

Step 5: Line Marking & Goals
